Architectural Wounds
Jonas Vansteenkiste
12/4–9/5 2023
Den Fantastiska Platsen
Jonas Vansteenkiste's exhibition, Architectural Wounds, is based on layers of personal experiences and emotions that have been translated into architecture. An architecture that takes on a universal form rather than a private one, and creates openings where the visitors can project the windings, rooms and stories of their own individual psyches. The exhibition not only takes aim at the relationship between body and architecture, at trauma and its consequences both physically and psychologically, but also focuses on the path to healing through the act of recapturing the story through an architecture that defies the impossible and occupies the space.
Martin Ålund, Curator
